Task 3. The Right to Die

 Hello everyone!

How are you? Do you know that I write here for the first time? I think you're fine and I hope you will like it.

Receiving professor's letter I realized that I would need to talk about death and the right of die. Developing the above-mentioned topic, I've decided to retell you one grievous story from famous newspaper "Guardian" called "Our mother wants to donate her body and we don’t want her to". This article is written by a Guardian columnist Annalisa Barbieri. If you like my review, you can read it here.
Have you ever wondered about the consequences of death? How you will be buried or cremated? Or you will donate your body to medical research? I think it's difficult psychological theme to discuss, but you have to think about it one day. Why and what for it should be done, tells the author of this article.

In our case, this is the story of a woman who has in old age mother, in good physical health and spirits, but wanted to donate her body to medical research after death. This choice is important for her. Hence, her last wish after death must be fulfilled by her daughters. But what should you do if you have already lost your father and you have a little time with him before his funeral? Being able to spend time with a loved one after they die can be really special, but it’s not always possible, for a myriad of reasons. It is the best to accept the choice of a dying person and try to brighten up his last years or days. it's about... Being there for her and support her in all.

We can not control the fate, so enjoy every moment, appreciate your family and the choice of each member of yours family. Everyone has the opportunity to choose. The main thing to fulfil this request and know that somewhere deep down you understand. The choice is yours.

So, I hope that you enjoy this article and look forward to your feedback on it. Also, I'd like to repeat you above-mentioned questions and ask some new.
  •  Have you ever wondered about the consequences of death? How you will be buried or cremated? Or you will donate your body to medical research?
  •  Do you think it's right to think about it?
  • What do you think is better to know about death in advance or face to face?
  • What would you do in a similar situation? Would you fulfil your mother's wish?

Here the list of words that will be useful for text translation:

  • funeral (похороны)
  • grieving (скорбящий)
  • invalidation (недействительность)
  • myriad (бесчисленное множество)
  • medical facility (медицинское учреждение)
  • grief (горе)

  Best wishes,
  Valeri
