Hy everyone!
How are you? Hope you're well.
Today I’d like to discuss new collection Moschino for h&m. So, I read a wonderful article in the Guardian which inspired me. You know, I'm always interested in fashion news and I could not miss such an annual event as a haute couture collection for a brand of mass market .
The other day Jeremy Scott's collection for h&m has been released. It was a very significant event for the fashion world. The show took place inside Pier 36, lower Manhattan, which was transformed into a replica of Times Square with billboards and digital ticker tape. Moreover, Gigi Hadid and Naomi Campbell participated in the show. This collection was a bright work of pop art, in which couture techniques were mixed with the identity of popular brands and recognizable images.
However, most of all I liked the statement by Jeremy Scott that he wanted to give fans a gift for all the love that they give him. To my mind, collaboration with h&m is an opportunity to give more people access to clothes that they like without much spending. Also, he noted that in the modern world it is very important to express one’s opinion on current issues. It is very good that designers of such a level as he think not only about a perfectly fitting suit, but also about pressing issues in the world, the attitude to which they can transmit through clothes.
To sum up, I'm already waiting for November 8th to order items from this collection. Unfortunately it will not be represented in Novosibirsk.
Nevertheless, what do you think of this collection and the work of Jeremy Scott? Do you think he creates provocative things? How do you feel about brand collaborations in general? What does fashion mean to you?
Also, here are some words from the article that may be unfamiliar to you. I think they are very useful:
catwalk-the long, narrow stage that models walk along in a fashion show
retail- the activity of selling goods to the public, usually in shops
to tease-to laugh at someone or say unkind things about them, either because you are joking or because you want to upset that person
frenzy-uncontrolled and excited behaviour or emotion
launch-an event to celebrate or introduce something new
blend-a mixture of different things or styles
silhouette-a dark shape seen against a light surface
affordable-not expensive
I hope that you enjoy reading this post! Waiting for your feedback!
Best wishes,
Lisa

Hello, thank you for sharing your work with us. It's evident that the world of fashion fascinates you, the feeling you managed to express in your piece and pass it to your readers. It was interesting for me to read your post and I can admit having read it I'd like to attend this show if I could. The most important thing for me you mentioned is that the world of fashion can help you express yourself, and this is what's great about it for me
