I'm very glad to see you on my blog again!

Well, today I'd like to share with you some words from the text which we read last Thursday. I found these words incomprehensible to me, so now I want to make it understandable with the help of this site https://sentence.yourdictionary.com. and I hope that it will be useful for you too.

Here you can see the list of these words:

  • oversubscribed destinations
  • to generate revenue
  • to maximize the profits


  1. "oversubscribed" means exceeded - превышен, перевыполнен
    "destinations" means the place (the final point of the way) where somebody is going

    Example: When I was a child, my older brother bought me a ticket to camp every summer, but he always picked destinations that were already oversubscribed by then.
  2. to generate revenue = to make a profit - получать прибыль

    Example:     When he was 25 y.o., he helped the poor in this country to become self-employed and generate revenue for themselves.
  3. to maximize the profits = to increase revenue to the maximum - увеличить доход/прибыль до максимума (максимизировать)

    Example: His main mistake was that he contacted the crimes in order to maximize his profits.
