One language spoken worldwide would lead to better international relations

I often hear the phrase "Well, why can not (sp) there be a single language in which people would freely communicate?" People oftten wonder why there are so many languages in the world. And the only question is: can one international language lead to better relitionships (sp) between countries?(ThSt-t: a question?)

Well (style), on the one hand, one international language has a lot of advantages. People would be more united, there would be a common culture and traditions. The economy would develop more successfully, because often it is the language barrier that prevents entrepreneurs from developing their business abroad. I am sure that there would be less (Gr) international conflicts and division (Gr) territories. Moreover, nowadays English is considered as international, (Fragment,) But, unfortunately, not all recognize it. All in all, in this case, lingua franca would promote better relationships.

On the other hand, it may cause serious damage. People cannot speak at the same level in the same language. In the end, the separation will begin and it (Ref.?) will cease to exist. Also, nations will lose their characteristics, traditions and cease to exist as a separate nation. Moreover, native speakers can manipulate other nations and use their position in their own interests. in any case, the most beautiful thing in the modern world is the diversity of cultures and it would be very bad if they disappeared and turned into one.

In conclusion, lingua franca is very common thing (Style) nowadays, and there are a lot of different opinions if  > wether it is good or bad for international relations. But we should remember that each language is its own culture.
