I remember my first day in university. Honestly, I thought that university it is just like a school,_but a bit more difficult.But my expectations were not met. Everything turned out to be much harder than I thought. But first things first.
The first problem I met was homesickness.It was my the first time when I had to leave my hometown and live far away from it for a long period. I missed my parents and friends very much,so we called each other every day. It wasn't easy at all and at first I even cried. Fortunatly ,I met a lot of new friends in the university,who helped me survive this difficult period and get used to new conditions.
The second thing. Probably, not only I heard such a myth that universities do not set homework or set but little. So after the first lesson I understood that it was just a myth . And it was an unpleasant surprise for me.I used to think that there was a lot of homework at school, so I wanted to get away from there quickly.You know what? I want to go back to school.
The biggest difference between school and university it is a great responsibility. In the university you have to do your best,because you know that your future depends on it.Going to school you don't understand it and for the most part you study because your parents and teachers say so .
So, despite all the difficulties I've met,university life is one of the happiest moments in my life.

It was my the first time: "my the first" > you can't use two determiners before one N > either use the pronoun or the article

However, look through the problems with Gr I have pointed out above and see whether you can correct them.
