Task 2. Vera Murashova

Draft

1) Introduction

Nowdays, (P) it is really important to take care of yourself ... .
Thus, if we speak about plastic surgery the most popular procedure in the USA is breast augmentation (Augmentation mammaplasty). The same is in Russia. (https://www.cbsnews.com/pictures/10-most-popular-plastic-surgery-procedures/11/)

However, I was really surprised when I checked the German statistic (WF) - (P) there the most popular plastic surgery Liposuction. (https://www.tupa-germania.ru/meditsina/plasticheskaja-chirurgija-v-germanii.html)

2) Arguments for (1)
feeling good, being self-confident

3) Arguments against (2)

Most of the celebrities make a lot of (even too much) effort to look perfect on photos and magazine covers. But for the most part (P) they do it to please the public.

Finally, recently I have watch (WF) a really good film connected with this theme. It is called "Cashback". It helps you to accept who you are and shows that different aspects of your body make you unique and special.

4) Conclusion

To sum up, I want to say that nobody's perfect, and I do not really understand why there are so many women all around the world who do not accept their bodies and try to get that way with the help of a doctor's knife.
To be happy with your body it is not necessary to rely on someone else's opinion. After all ,it'syour life,it's  (correct the spaces b/w words) your body and it must be what you want it to be and nobody can blame you for it.
“Even as your body betrays you, your mind denies it.”
(Sara Gruen, Water for Elephants)

Hello Vera,

I'm writing my comment here since it's an unpublished draft, so I can't leave my comment in the thread.

Mechanics: in British English comma is not used after the introductory phrases such as "Nowadays"; it is common for Am English

Check the difference b/w "statistic" and "statistics": they are different and used in a different way: you can google them like this: "statistic" vs "statistics" and see the difference. It'd be great if you shared the information you will have found with us
P: dash is not used this way in English; it is how it can be used in Russian

In the conclusion do not say "I want to say that", just say what your conclusion is
