Kanye West has talked openly about being bipolarWell, I have chosen this article because I like the (Art) hip-hop culture. In the article there is an (art) analysis of a modern tendency of singing about suicide, depression, anxiety and prescription drugs.

Then, let me share my ideas about the first task.

 ·         lo-fi production - (originally spelled low-fi, from the term "low fidelity") is an aesthetic of recorded music in which the sound quality is lower than the usual contemporary standards (the opposite of high fidelity) and imperfections of the recording and production are audible. These standards have evolved throughout the decades, meaning that some older examples of lo-fi may not have been originally recognized as such. Lo-fi only began to be recognized as a style of popular music in the 1990s, when it became alternately referred to as DIY music (Source?)
·         drug slang: “lean”, “syrup” and “purp”
·         misogyny is a popular up-to-date word which can be translated as ‘женоненависничество’
·         mainstream global megastars – I just like this expression and find it useful for an essay
·         imitation of life – the way the rappers live ;)

 Notes:
In the article there is an (art) analysis: It's actually better to say that the article analyzes the tendencies in... It is a better way to say it in English

It's good you prepared this list of words and explained why you have chosen one of them.
