A Reflection Note
Our semester is coming to an end, and therefore I want to leave my impressions about the course of studying academic writing.
Firstly, I really liked the format in which our classes were held. Since we live in the modern world, I think it is very important to be able to use and process information on the Internet, and this is exactly what some of our lessons were built on. Thanks to this, I learned to look for the information I need and work with anti plagiarism.
Moreover, during this semester there was a lot of practice in writing essays of various types. Because of this, I learned how to structure information and express my thoughts correctly in writing.
As for the topics themselves, I really liked the themes that we discussed. They are very relevant and timely. Also, a big plus that we had the opportunity to choose it themselves. As for me, I am most attracted to the themes of our health, beauty, fashion and international relations.
However, I don't think that the discussion of the topics during the lessons before writing the work itself was too productive.
All in all, this course was very useful for me and I learned new things that will be useful not only in my profession, but also in life. Thanks for the knowledge I gained.

ReplyDeletethank you for your reflection. It is good to know that you liked the way the course was taught and enjoyed the activities. However, I should admit that you were not as active as expected and did not complete some of the tasks at all, while some others after the deadline. You should try to plan your time better and submit your works when required. I'm glad that you found the topics we discusseed interesting. I'll try to organise the discussions of the topics you are asked to write about better, however it also depends on the students' contribution to these discussions. Actually, the success of what you learn equally depends on the teacher and the students, and this was what I tried to help you to understand and practise.
Anyway, let me repeat that I hope that you have gained some useful skills as the result of this course and will be able to build upon them in the future.
