Task 2. Power to the People

Hello there!

This is my first post and I`d like to share one interesting article with you.

I`ve chosen the article "Power to the People - the Back Panthers by photographer Stephen Shames " by Guy Lane.

I enjoy analyzing photos by different photograhpers because it`s interesting to see how each of them can find a unique perspective. Moreover, as for me, it`s very hard to make photos of people but Stephen Shames could combine the beauty of peoplpe and the historical importance of their actions. So, it was a good choice to write an article exactly about this photographer.

The article consist (WF) of the main information about the history of The Black Panthers and some emotional things > details that help to feel the atmosphere of those times. I found SOME interesting unknown facts about the struggle of independence and it was really usefull (Sp)

So, I really would like to read your impressions about this article! Maybe you`ll like it too.

    Hi! I really like beautiful photos either and it is hard for me to take photos of others. Sometimes I wish I had a camera in my eyes to capture the moment :)
    I'm interested :What is the most emotional thing about The Black Panthers? How long had they been struggling of independence? When was it?

    Thanks for sharing the information about this article with us. I think it’s really interesting to know about history of different countries. You always need to learn something new so this information is new to me. I'm really interested in yours article. I never heard about The Black Panthers, therefore after this reading, I must find all the information about them. Also, Thank you for your photo!
