Today I want to talk about such a serious topic as the right to die. I found an article related to this topic in the popular newspaper “Guardian”. It is called “Peruvian villagers face murder and intimidation from land traffickers”.

Brief description of the article: The villagers of Peru face murder and intimidation from the traffickers to the ground. Land invaders want to use the village of Chaparrí to expand their agriculture despite the fact that Chaparrí is a protected area. The villagers do not agree with such changes in their village. Because of this, they are forced to defend themselves, because the land invaders kill people, intimidate them, burn forests. They do everything to achieve their goal. They even killed the Governor of this village. To date, 28 people are at risk because they oppose to these plans.
Land invaders turned their attention to Chaparrí six years ago when plans to build a reservoir raised the possibility of agricultural expansion in the protected area.






In this situation, the land invaders don't care about the interests of the residents of this village. If people do not support their opinions, they commit murders. I think it's very cruel to take a man's life for your own selfish reasons. In my opinion, no one has the right to take a person's life except himself.

 Suspicious (подозрительный) - Last year 10 cases of suspicious forest fires were reported in Chaparrí. 

To grab ( захватывать ) - There were four cases when the killers grabbed the village.

    Hello, Alina! The news about Peruvian village is terrible! Of course, killing is a cruel method of primitive time. And I can't completely understand why do public ignore this situation. Violators should be held to the law.
