Individual task about the rap misic . Vera Murashova


I like the hip-hop culture, and it always have been interesting for me to follow the historical development of it. Listening to the rap music helps me to relax and forget about all the problems I have; by the way, the most important thing is to choose the correct song that reflects your mood at this particular moment. So, to continue the idea about the historical  changes of rap music, I can say for sure that the contemporary one is so much different from the trends in the past. It became rather pessimistic (despite several exceptions like Lil Pump, who enjoys his life, billions of money he has, and, naturally, weed) and I do not understand why; nevertheless, it is still interesting to listen to because it is like a voice of the generation, and moreover, several days ago I had a chance to get a feedback from the rapper I wrote to, whose name is Benny Mails. Actually, I was very surprised and happy at the same time… anyway, it supports my idea of listening to contemporary artists.

I know that there is a big stereotype that the rap music is always rude, thus, let me share the clip which disproves this myth.

















Frankly speaking I do not like Lil Pump at all, but I am to illustrate the cult he made.

    Vera, I am sorry I am posting my comment here but for some reason there is no comment box as is usual the case. It was interesting for me to read what you have written, however, I think that you should have discussed this topic at a deeper level and make the discussion more profound. You should have explained in more detail your fascination with rap music and that of many other people.


    It's amazing that you got a message from the rapper you wrote to. I can imagine how excited you should be! Congratulations
