Task 5 Sasha Ushakova

When true crime films prove to be guilty themselves

I've chosen an (art) article about (art) true crime genre in films and tv-shows. I decided to read it as I like this kind of movies and shows. The author speaks about the problem of speculation that directors can make in order to attract more attention to their product. He also describes how these films and shows affect the victims of the crimes described there or their relatives. He gives an example of a show based on Madeleine McCann disappearance whose parents didn't ask this show to be done, but it was done (WW).
All in all, Art author is concerned about the feelings of victims of the crimes that are described in such films and shows, and the fact that people are interested in it (WNum)  so much that they can commit a lynch mob to a person who was revealed as a culprit in a show.

Here some words that I find useful: 1) exploitative - taking as much as possible from someone or something and giving very little in return_She denied the job offer as the employer provided exploitative working conditions.2) anguish - mental or physical suffering caused by extreme pain or worry_She was possessed by anguish of not knowing what had happened to her husband.3) riveting - so interesting or exciting that you cannot stop watching it or listening to it The Beatles made riveting performances during their career. 4) miscarriage of justice - a situation in which someone is wrongly punished by a court of law for something they did not doHe became a victim of miscarriage of justice.5) hinder - to make it difficult for something to develop or succeed_Her career was hindered by an injury.
6) lynch mob -
a group of people that kills someone by hanging them, without a legal trial

Sasha,

Your summary presents the main content of the article well, but you should have mentioned who Madeline McCann was because without this information it is not clear what the main focus of the film is.

Also, it'd have been better if you placed the information about the words on separate lines to make the text easier to read.
